What great presentation of the popular names activity. I can tell you put a lot of effort into your activities and I’m impressed! I can see your name isn’t one of the most common at your school, have you ever met another person with your name?
My name was quite popular when I was at school and I sometimes had to be called Georgia A-C (an abbreviation for my last name) so I knew which Georgia my teacher was referring to.
Hi Georgia, Thank you for the good comment. Yes I have met someone that has the same name as me, I was competing with her in soccer. Thank you for the great and amazing comment. See you later
The names you’ve listed and highlighted are such common names I know at least two people that share each of them with the exception of ‘Judith’. I can see you you took care in gathering the most common names you could find in your school, it shows your attention to detail is great.
When I was in school a common name for boys was ‘Sione’ and for girls it was ‘Ana’. Whenever we called one of them we often had to say the letter of their last name or nickname otherwise they’d all turn around and answer! I also remember ‘Sam’ being a common name that both boys and girls shared. Do you know any popular names that both boys and girls share?
You have recorded some interesting facts about your school. How many children in your school had that name? What be wonderful to see the numbers. Have you thought about graphing the information in google sheets? Thanks for sharing
