Who is Neil Armstrong. He is an American astronaut. Neil Armstrong was the first person in the world to step foot and walk on the moon. His spacecraft was called Apollo 11. One of his quotes that he said was, " That's one small step for man, on giant leap for mankind".
For this task I had to imagine that I was Neil Armstrong, walking on the moon for the first time. I had to write a poem about how I felt walking on the moon. Sorry I tried to make it rhyme but I couldn't.

I like that even though you aren't a good rhymer, you gave it try! And if I'm being honest, it is definitely better then what I would've probably conjured up :) Also, great job for attributing the photo.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a cool poem. I can imagine that it might be very bright up there, I think I would get a tad bit homesick too. Do you think that you would like to visit space at all? One of my friends actually builds rockets, as his job! They are rockets to help send satellites up into space but maybe they will start building rockets to carry people into space soon!
