Serena and Venus Williams
Week 1, Activity 10: Making a Racket.
Venus Williams and Serena Williams are two exceptional, female tennis players. They are not only outstanding athletes and some of the best tennis players in the world, but they have fought for women to be recognised as equals to men in the game of tennis.
For this activity, I had to watch two videos about Serena and Venus Williams. I had to tell my readers three things I learned from watching those videos, as well as one thing I would still like to know.
Kia-ora Kohl-lee, its Zephaniah here, I really enjoyed your post about the two sisters, Serena and Venus Williams. I see that you have been listening very carefully to the videos. Ka pai! Keep up the awesome mahi! Blog you later;)

ReplyDeleteKia Ora Kohl-Lee,
They are very inspirational, aren’t they? I can’t even imagine all the hard work they put in now and when they were younger and growing their tennis careers. I bet they practised together quite a bit! I think their family would be big supporters of theirs. If you could well known for being good at a sport, what sport would it be? I think I would want to be a well known hockey player because I would love to travel the world playing hockey1
As you know the Summer Learning Journey staff take some time off from working during the Christmas and New Year period so you may not get as many comments on your blog posts but we will continue commenting when we all get back to work on January 6th. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your whanau.
Blog ya later,
Dani
