Kia ora Kohl-Lee! 你好! (Nǐ hǎo MEANS “Hello, Hi” in Mandarin)! Happy New Year! What did you get up to? I played games with my friends until midnight! Then we went to watch the fireworks! How are you today?
Thank you for a great blog post! I really enjoyed reading about your five favourite things to do! It was awesome getting to know you a bit better! I love your creativity you’ve shown on all your posts! Ka pai for such hard work! I also love the beach! I stayed in Whangarei Heads for a week over the holidays and we went to Ocean Beach and jumped in the big surf waves!
What’s your favourite beach to go to? Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
Kia ora Kohl-Lee! Olive from the Summer Learning Journey! How are you doing today? The weather isn't very good! I really want to see more of the sunshine.
I've come back to this post because I feel it's really memorable! I really enjoyed getting to know what you're passionate about! I love how all your favourite things involve your family! It's super lovely to see how your excitement and care for your loved ones really shows in your work! Ka pai for all your creativity!
I notice you haven't been as active recently - maybe you're on holiday? Bad wifi connection? The dog ate your computer? Whatever the reason, my team and I would love to see more of your work! Don't give up, there are still two weeks of the program to go! Remember the end of the Summer Learning Journey is next Friday 24th January! Keep up the blogging, commenting and enthusiasm!
It's Georgia here, the Cluster Manager from last summer, how are you? I was overjoyed to hear that you were participating in the SLJ programme for another year. I always loved reading your posts and seeing how creative you were in presenting them on your blog. It's great to see you still put a lot of effort into each activity!
I enjoyed reading through your top 5 favourite things to do. I found number four really interesting and what a very mature perspective of funerals you have. I also find that although funerals are really sad, it is also a time where whanau come together as one and celebrate the life of the person they are saying goodbye to. It's a chance to reflect and as you said, support each other.
All the best with your year Kohl-Lee! I hope you'll complete a few more activities before the programme ends and earn some extra points.
