Math Whizz

Math Whizz
Last week we started an 8 week challenge on math whizz. We had to get 4 or more progressions/gems. I have enjoyed learning new math strategies. The first day we started we had to take a huge assement, they tested us so they can know what we know already and what we don't know. So then we get set task. This week my topic focus was all about pencil and paper multiplication. I loved learning how to do it. I never understood what the questions were asking me. I think I need to improve my measures so thats what ill be doing next week.

Here is my work. I hope you enjoy.

Jamboard

Jamboard
So this week we learnt about the difference of whole unknown and part unknown problems. So we had to solve these questions by using whole unknown stategy or part unknow strategy. We had to think if it was a whole or part unknown problem. I mostly used the part unknown strategy for  most of the questions/problems.

Here is my work. I hope you learn something new.

A boy on a bike!

A Boy on a Bike!
So we have been reading a book called A boy on a bike.  I know I have a few errors or mistakes in the video. Also In my summary I have notices heaps of mistakes that I have done. I was trying to read fluently, but I think I read like a robot in some parts of the text. I am very sorry about the background noise, as we all know we are in lockdown and I live with a loud family who loves talking.

I was really amazed at this young boy, for wanting to help the St Johns. So he wanted to raise money for them and he raised $7,000 for the St Johns. I couldn't believe how determined and motivated to do this. This is an amazing story about a young boy helping raise money for the St johns and how he was chasing his dream.

So this week we were learning about Part Unkown Problems. We used this new cite or App Called Jamboard. Jamboard is so easy to use. It is like a whiteboard on a chromebook.

Well Here is my work and I hope you enjoy and learn something new.
