A Bee Business!
What did I learn?
What was Interesting?
How does this relate to my business plan?

This is my recording and reflection of this book that we have been reading.
We have been learning about businesses.
We have been working on a business plan for our market day.
What does this book have to do with your business?
Well this is an important book because it's about this school who have
started a honey business. This tells us about what they planned, their wants and
needs, their budget, and whether or not the bees are a viable business option.
They had to consider ongoing costs.

A boy on a bike!

A Boy on a Bike!
So we have been reading a book called A boy on a bike.  I know I have a few errors or mistakes in the video. Also In my summary I have notices heaps of mistakes that I have done. I was trying to read fluently, but I think I read like a robot in some parts of the text. I am very sorry about the background noise, as we all know we are in lockdown and I live with a loud family who loves talking.

I was really amazed at this young boy, for wanting to help the St Johns. So he wanted to raise money for them and he raised $7,000 for the St Johns. I couldn't believe how determined and motivated to do this. This is an amazing story about a young boy helping raise money for the St johns and how he was chasing his dream.

JamBoard

JamBoard
So this week we were learning about Part Unkown Problems. We used this new cite or App Called Jamboard. Jamboard is so easy to use. It is like a whiteboard on a chromebook.

ANGLES

ANGLES
So this week we learnt about four different types of angels. We also learnt how to use protractors. They were the Obtuse angle and the Reflex angle.

Identify what an acute angle is.
Identify what a right angle is.
Identify what a obtuse angle is.
Identify what a reflex angle is.

The Headless Ghost

The Headless Ghost
This is a book about a haunted house. It wasnt always haunted. So lets begin. Once there lived a married couple they had just finished building the house, they where ready to move into it but captain William( I think was his name) got called to go on a ship for a couple of months. Sadly he passed away and his wife left him and the house. His ghost came back calling out for his wifes name.

Here is my summary of the start.

Wicking water

Wicking water
So this week we had Whaea Annie as our teacher and she was teaching everyone about science. I wasnt here when they did the actual science. I was here when they were talking about what happened over night. So this is my opinion on what I saw.

So I could see different types of jars some where tall, big and small. My teams group where mostly about the same size. Anyways there were differnt colors in the jar ( Food Coloring). Then there were tissue papers going into one of the jars then into the next. But the tissue papers werent the color white they were all different colors like yellow, blue, pink, red, orange, etc. But it looked very different and interesting. I was told about how the tissue paper blended and mixed with the different colors. I also learnt about capillary action.

Capillary action means that the liquid( Water and food coloring) will be able to flow in to small or thin places. There where only three colors used in this (Red, Blue, Yellow). I wondered how the other jars got filled up with different colors.

WALT:
  • Work as a group
  • Observe carefully
  • Measure accurately
  • Work cooperatively
Well here is my groups and I work.
