Sportsmanship

Sports is so fun. Sportsmanship is

about listening to your

referee,coach, and teammates.

Sportsmanship is  about showing

Manaakitanga (that means caring),

Whakawhanaungatanga

(that means showing respect),

Tikanga (that means doing the right thing).

My team was listening to

Matua Matt as a result we got

through training faster and we got

a long game of Kia O Rahi.

Being a good sports person

means making everyone on my

team happy because we get to have

a long game. Being a good sports person

means that you are showing respect to

other people like the reef your

coach and your teammates.

My team wasn’t respecting our

coach so we had to do laps

around the whole school.

In conclusion being a good

sports person means that you

will have a long time in a game,

you will be showing M

anaakitanga,Whakawhanaungatanga

and Tikanga. So that what being a

good sports person means.

So follow my advice and if you

do all these things goodness will be coming your way.

How to be a Bucket Filler?

Definition

Everyone in the universe

has an invisible bucket.

You fill other people’s bucket by
showing Aroha(love),
Manaakitanga(respect)

an heeps more ways.

For an example my friend showed

Manaakitanga to my other friend

because she  did not touch

her things in her desk.

Description

It is used for making other people feel
cheerful,calm,positive,

delighted and there are

many more emotions that

other people think when there bucket is filled.

Process

Well people go to school or

work and if your friend says

”you have a pretty dress on today”

then your bucket will be filled.

If you said that you and your friend’s

bucket will be filled.

Conclusion

In conclusion bucket filling

makes other people feel delighted,

calm,positive,cheerful and heaps

more emotion words. So be a bucket filler.

Kindness

What is Kindness?

Everyone in the universe can show kindness to other people.  
Kindness can change people’s life.

Kindness is a type of behavior such as being nice and showing
respect to others. You can show kindness by being friendly using
manaakitanga. For example, if a person is new to a school you can
introduce yourself, show them around the school, and help him or
her meet others.  
As a result, that new person will no longer be lonely.  

Kindness works like this….. If someone let’s other people
join in their game that is showing kindness.
That is being a kind person.
That is also showing manaakitanga (respect),
aroha (love), whanaungatanga (building relationships).
Kind people have good manners and they will
always show these important values.

In conclusion, kindness is about making others feel happy
and delighted.  It makes them feel safe and welcomed.
Kindness is a nice kind of behavior that everyone in the whole
universe can do because everyone has the
ability to do things like that.

Entering the sad world

I think my dad doesn’t like me anymore. I always ask him to play with me but he rather drop me of instead to grandpa’s house. Does he love me anymore? I felt depressed and sad. My teardrops are wetting the car chair. I have to spend morning to night with Grandpa. My dad always says I will play with you tomorrow. But he never does.

Grandpa’s house

Boo! Then we were at Grandpa’s house. He is so boring he makes me sit there while he does the lawn. Wait what is that picture up there. I finally got the picture. Oww! I fell of the stack of boxes and a wagon. Grandpa almost ran over a helmet. He was looking at me. He whispered ”let’s take it for a spin”.

Then Grandpa said ”Keep your arms and legs in the wagon at all times”. AHHHHH! Evil monkey’s are attacking. We need to blast of in the wagon.

We are going down

Oh Nooo! After that we're going down a gargantuan waterfall. I screamed out ”We are going to die”. What! How did this wagon turn into a airplane. Nooooo! We have no fuel. Grandpa yelled ”we are going to have to jump down”. My teddy and I were nervous but we jumped out like we could fly. Then we pulled a string that made a parachute come out.

At the park

We had a sit down at the park and then we were attacked by ugly aliens. We were shooting at them. One ship broke down. Then another ship did.

Conclusion

In conclusion I was very bummed out that I had to stay with grandpa’s house in the morning. But I actually had a spectacular day. My grandpa is the best. Better than my dad.Well that’s what I think.
