Sir Edmund Hillary

Week 1 Activity 9:So I had to think of 5 questions I would like to ask Sir Edmund Hillary about his life. By the way Sir Edmund Hillary is the man on the 5 dollar note.

What was easy was nothing.
What was hard was trying to think of questions to ask him.

Here is my work I hope you enjoy.

  1. Kia-ora kohl-ee, I like the way how you explained or asked what questions you will ask if you meet Sir Edmund Hillary. I knew that he was the most active man in those days. So this is a great presentation. Nice work!

  2. Kia Ora Kohl-Lee,

I love how you have gone for an colourful presentation of your questions for Sir Edmund Hillary and by adding the photos your blog visitors who might not know him can see what he looks like. I think Sir Edmund Hillary showed bravery and great determination during the multiple expeditions that he did around the world. We are very lucky as a country to have such a great role model.
Did you know that Sir Edmund Hillary also played a big role in an Antarctica Expedition between 1955 and 1958? Part of his journey was on a Massey ferguson tractor and if you look at an old $5 note you can see the faint picture of the tractor he used during the expedition.

It’s great that you have used some photos to add something eye catching to your post. But it is important to try and attribute image (which means the author or website who published the image gets some recognition for what they have created). You can read more about attributing images on the link below. Do you think you could comment below with the image attributes?

I look forward to reading more of your Summer Learning Journey soon!
