Being Brave

Week 1, Activity 6: Miracle on the Hudson
What does Miracle of Hudson mean? There was this man named Mr Chesley Sullenberger, or
(Sully), Well he became really popular and famous. He is known as an airline pilot for about 30 years. In 2009, he became world famous when he landed his aeroplane in the middle of the Hudson River in New York City  He was forced to make an emergency landing when both of the engines in his aeroplan lost power. All  155 people on board survived the landing. This amazing event became known as the ' Miracle on the Hudson'.

For this activity, we would like to hear about a time when you, or someone you know, was brave like Sully. On your blog, recount a time when you (or someone else you know) did something brave.

Today I chose to talk about me. In the photo I added a heart to it, just because... The End.

  2. Kia Ora Kohl-Lee,

Thank you for sharing your story of bravery, I know it can sometimes be scary being in pain and going in for surgery. How did you break your arm? I have broken my arm before, I fell over when I was running backwards at netball. I was lucky it was during winter though so I didn’t miss out on swimming! Did you know they can make waterproof casts now? I was very jealous that I didn’t get one when I broke my arm. What colour was your cast? I had a plain white one and my friends drew cartoon characters all over it.

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts soon!

    Blog ya later,

    Dani
